Lauren had been looking. Waiting for what felt like forever. Watching for Mr. Right to step into her life. And just when she had given up all hope of finding her love, she met Mike, at church, where she had always had faith. They clicked immediately, and their relationship went from great to perfect, and within a year Mike was down on his knee in front of all of their closest family and friends asking her to be his forever. She cried, laughed, smiled the biggest smile possible, and said yes. I’ve photographed a lot of weddings but this wedding had SO MUCH JOY! I felt it while I was shooting. Lauren was smiling all day, and it was contagious. It was definitely the happiest day of her life, and I was honored to be the one to capture their love.
Oh and I have a secret. While editing their wedding photos I was feeling so much love, I was inspired to get my wedding dress out of the closet and try it on. And it fit! So I did a little spin around the room. Seeing Lauren and Mike so in love, and so happy, made me wish I could relive my own wedding day.
