Family Photography

Real smiles.  That's my goal.  Always.  It's not always easy, especially when kids are 3 and over.  That's when they start giving me the cheese smile.  I never say cheese for that very reason.  You know what I'm talking about, teeth clenched, blank eyes, and tight shoulders.  I delete those photos, because I'm always going for real smiles.  The ones where I can see right into the souls of my subjects.  It's what we want to remember.

It was  beautiful fall day when I got to go out with the Hayes family for their shoot.  The light was gorgeous and we had fun!

I love this smile, and those brilliant blue eyes!

Everybody was kung fu fighting!  Haha!  Love!

What a sweet moment.  I have a feeling Kelly will cherish this photo forever.  That is why I do what I do.

I absolutely adore this family and hope I get to take their pictures for many more years to come!  I send them my love fore 2013!
