Lindsey and Cole’s big day!
Lindsey and Cole Amaya share a love for the outdoors, their friends, Kansas City, having fun, and The Chiefs, and surprises, did I mention they like surprises. Yes, they love to surprise their friends and family, like when they had the KC wolf crash their wedding. It was a surprise, a really really awesome surprise. I don’t have time to share every single pic, or I would because they are that fun. It was epic, and having the wolf there totally got the party started. I think the KC wolf surprise sums up their relationship. Fun! All about having fun! In fact Jon and I had a blast shooting this wedding. I just have a few to share, but there are sooo many more. Lindsey and Cole I LOVED being a part of your big day!
Yes the wolf tackled Lindsey’s brother Brett on the dance floor.
During the wedding ceremony the light came pouring in through this massive stain glass window at the Wood Chapel Methodist Church. Such a beautiful affect.
Lindsey you are so gorgeous!
I don’t usually share wedding party pics, but I kinda loved this wedding party!
Nice Dillon.
So adorable!
It’s obvious you two are so in love. I think you’ll have so much fun together!

Senior Photography ~ Madison Clark
Meet Madison. College bound and ready to end her high school career and move towards becoming a doctor. She’s athletic, smart and beautiful. I immediately liked Madison for her dynamic personality and huge smile. We clicked, and I had a blast spending the early evening as the sun was setting taking pictures of her being Madison.
Madison is all smiles, but every once and awhile she would turn and give me something right out of a magazine! Gah Madison you are so gorgeous! Are you sure you want to be a doctor, you could definitely do well as a model or actress. Just kidding. 🙂
Words can’t describe how much I love these senior pictures. I loved taking them, and I loved working on them, and I loved sharing them with you. Have a beautiful weekend!
And Madison, go out and change the world…I know you will!
xoxo

Baby Amelia
Little baby Amelia graced my studio on Thursday. She was bright eyed and bushy tailed for the first 45 minutes of our session, but my soothing ways and warm blankets finally won her sleepy eyes over. I had a great time getting to know grandma, and parents Trent and Emilee, and I especially loved getting to know Amelia, with those perfect chubby cheeks, and puffy lips that she like to let fall open when she is super sleepy. Oh Amelia, she are perfection!
A rare and special moment, but Amelia was soooo strong, and insisted on looking around.
I love my job…

The Thompsons
For those of you that have been following me for awhile you might recognize this family. The Thompsons have been with me for years now. I’ve photographed their wedding, boudoir, maternity, newborn and many more shoots. I’ve gotten to watch this family evolve and grow, and I’ve gotten to watch little Axel grow up in front of my camera. I love Elizabeth and Nick, but Axel has my heart. Seriously, I have a crush on a 3 year old. It might have something to do with the fact that he’s such a little charmer, or that he loves having his picture taken, or the fact that his smile lights up a room. I’m hooked and I can’t get enough. I hope this blog shows you just how awesome little Axel is, and just how close the family has gotten. Love you guys!
Elizabeth is a horse lover like myself. So when she said we could use her friends house and barn for photos I was ecstatic.
They do this kind of stuff all the time. So cute! What a special moment.
Axel…3 going on 30. So mature! Did I mention he’s a bit of a mommas boy.
Beautiful and timeless!
Oh Thompsons I never get tired of taking your pics! Congrats on closing on your new house. Maybe I’ll have to make a trip up to Marshall to shoot there next time!

My face hurts…
I love this family. They’ve been with me for a couple years now and every shoot just keeps getting better and better. I cherish my clients, hold them close to my heart, and value the responsibility they give me to capture these very important moments!
The Sims are one of those families. I look forward to our shoots, I grow closer to them and their kids every year, and I can’t wait for the next one. After our photo shoots my face hurts from smiling and laughing so much. I think these photos will best express why and how. And these are just a few of the random ones I picked out.
These two remind me of my brother and I. They are so close and I’m sure always will be.
Oh this one is hilarious. Not sure what I said, but it evoked this priceless moment!
Adorable.
Oh Hailey you are perfection!
Cool guy Jeremy hitching a ride.
What an adorable family to photograph. I just love them!
